QUOTE (Farmer-Ted @ Aug 30 2009, 07:24 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I thought there was no way in hell the hood would clear the super charger and IAC in the intake. It's very close, I still need to measure the space with clay. If it's too close MM sells a K-member spacer (1/4 or 1/2") that will lower the engine for extra clearance. I can also shim up the back of hood for a little more room. If the stock pulley and belt cover were on there, it would never cleared. I guess I could put a smaller pulley on for even more room. Hmmmm.......

That sounds like the proper solution to me.

Just sayin... eclipsee_steering.gif

Yeah, I wouldn't have even cut the hood. It would have taken less time to get a smaller pulley.

I am sure Mark does something to help every once in a while but he is usually just wasted space.

He fetches wrenches and leaves greasy hand prints on the driveway.

Got some more done this weekend. Brake lines are in, fuel lines are in, gas tank is in, power steering/hydroboost is together, 03 energency brake cables are in, drive shaft is in, brakes are bled, and the oil is changed. In order to make brake/fuel/vent lines fit properly I had to remove the passenger side inner seat belt mount, original emergency brake cables and rear bumpstop mounts. Luckly the inner seat belt mounts to the seat on the 03 Cobra seats.

Lines:

Driveshaft:

03 Cobra emergency brake brackets/cables on the 92:

The car was undercoated sometime in the past. So it's was easy to make everything match with a can of paint and a can of rubberized under coating.

Now I gotta make the bottom filler neck fit inplace of the top one.

And I used clay to measure the clearance between the blower pulley and the IAC and the bottom of the hood. The pulley had just under 1/2" clearance and the IAC has about 1/4" clearance. Should be enough so I don;t have to lower the engine. Sweet!

Got a little done tonight.

Made the top one fit on the 92.

Just had to cut a section out of the middle and connect it together with some 1" diameter fuel filler neck hose.

Here's the result, still gotta connect the vapor lines.

All I need to do is install the fuel pump driver, connect the fuel pump wire, flush the line and get a lower radiator hose and it will be ready to start.
