Ford Instrument Regulator Fix

Most '60s, 70's, and some '80s Fords use a instrument voltage regulator that pulses 12V to the instruments to simulate 5 volts. This regulator is usually at fault when your instruments don't work properly. This article describes how to make your own solid state regulator from under $5 of Radio Shack supplies!

Inexpensive Door Lock Actuators

I've put these on my '84 SVO, they are way cheaper than Ford actuators. They are more of a universal-type and don't bolt in the stock location, a little creativity and drilling a hole or two is required. It probably took me 10 minutes per door.

Cheap G-tech Link

I ordered a G-tech from these guys, It's the lowest price I've seen, $50.

Homemade Boost Controller

I have 3 of these on my vehicles, they work excellent. I buy the Grainger valves from McMaster Carr (part #48935K25), and instead of the plastic fittings, I buy a female pipe thread to barb fitting and tap the other end for a male pipe thread to barb fitting. And instead of the pressure relief line, I just drill a tiny hole in the side of the valve. Total cost is under $15.
